Add a Custom DomainLast Updated: October 08, 2018
With E1, you can set the URL of your app landing page.
You will be given a convention.cloud subdomain to act as your app landing page by default. You may change your subdomain to any unclaimed subdomain under convention.cloud by updating the App Name.
To set up a custom domain, first, submit your chosen domain to E1 by adding a domain in the Domain Settings page as shown above. In this example, we are showing Filiosoft's own setup to point events.filiosoft.com to our landing page. Next, go to your DNS provider's website (e.g. GoDaddy, Cloudflare, or Amazon Route 53). Look for a place to add a CNAME record, and create a CNAME ('canonical domain') record from your chosen custom domain to websites.filiosoft.cloud. For example, if we had a customer who wanted to host their landing page on their custom domain events.filiosoft.com:
Once you save this record, your DNS provider will start putting the changes into effect. These changes can take up to 72 hours to take effect but usually will be visible within an hour.
